Hello! I'm Emily, and I'm the girl behind the camera at Emele Photography, I'm also the one who can be found sitting infront of the computer and doing all the other bits and pieces for the business!
I go by the name of Emele online, it's a combination of my first name and middle name and sounds much more glamorous than "Emily's Photography" in my opinion!
I'm a self-taught photographer who "discovered" photography back in 2004/2005 when I bought my first digital camera. I realized that I could make money selling my photos through microstock and print-on-demand sites... and the rest is history, I've never looked back!
I have a passion for capturing details and finding "Beauty in Nature" whether flowers, landscapes or animals. I also like to travel and explore new places so travel scenes feature in my work, particularly the Greek island of Crete where I lived for 7 years before returning to the UK.
Since my camera is never far from my side and there's always something that catches my eye I also submit my work to microstock photography sites - You'll find anything and everything from tiled floor backgrounds and signposts to tourist attractions and insects in my stock portfolios - It's quite a mixture that not many people get to see unless they are buying stock photos as it's hardly the sort of thing that anyone would want to buy on a greeting card or print!
You can find out more about me and what I'm upto on my personal blog, Emele's Life as well as on Twitter.
